Pakistan allows another airline to operate international flights

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan has allowed the SereneAir, a private sector airline based in Islamabad, to operate international flights from January 2021. 

The Aviation Division has granted this permission to SereneAir after approval of the federal cabinet. The CAA director for air transport has issued a notification in this regard and told the SereneAir to submit its flight schedule. 

The SereneAir will initially start flights from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The airline will begin flights to Jeddah and Riyadh from January 2021 and then to different cities of the United Arab Emirates. The SereneAir will buy new Airbus 330 and Boeing 737 planes for international flights

SereneAir is a privately owned airline registered in Pakistan and it started its domestic operations in January 2017. The airline's head office is at Moiz Centre, Markaz, Islamabad.
