KEMU Prof Moin advocates PEEK technology for early diagnosis in children

King Edward Medical University (KEMU) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Moin highlighted the utility of PEEK for early diagnosis and treatment of vision disorders in children, keeping in mind the growing need for technology, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.


Presenting a retrospective review evaluating the efficacy of PEEK in detecting visual problems in resource-limited school children during the Akhtar Saeed Memorial Scientific Symposium at the 43rd KEMUCON, Dr Moin, head of Institute of Ophthalmology / College of Ophthalmology and Allied Vision Sciences (COAVS), Mayo Hospital emphasized the need to effectively mobilize a call to action for collective efforts to bridge the healthcare gap.


A large number of faculty, allied health sciences, and medical students of King Edward Medical University participated.


In closing remarks, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mahmood Ayaz appreciated the collective efforts of all involved in advancing knowledge at the 43rd KEMUCON, expressing gratitude for Dr. Muhammad Moin's lecture.
