Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday departed for Cairo, Egypt, to participate in the 11th Summit of the Developing Eight (D-8) countries, scheduled for December 19th.
Before the summit, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister will also attend the 21st session of the D-8 Council of Ministers, which is set to take place on December 18th, according to a press release issued by the Deputy PM’s office.
Moreover, while in Cairo, the Deputy Prime Minister is expected to virtually participate in the Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) conference being held today in Baku.
On the sidelines of the summit, the Deputy Prime Minister will hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts present in Cairo.
