Shahid Afridi raring to go for PSL-V

Flamboyant all-rounder Shahid Afrid said Monday Pakistan Super League is a platform that has given future stars to Pakistan cricket.

Multan Sultans’ player said he was enjoying his cricket and ready to perform for his team during the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League. He praised the combination of Multan Sultans and said the team has the services of some very talented players who could tilt the fortunes in the team’s favour this season.

Afridi said he has not given much thought to mentorship and besides being mentor he has a lot of responsibility as player as well.

Afridi said captain and coach have high expectations from him and he would try to play to his best abilities to play key role in his team’s aim to win the title.

Former Pakistan captain also praised Shan Masood and said he is in great form and hoped that as captain of Multan Sultans Shan would give his best performances.

He said he totally supports Shan Masood as captain and expected that Shan would deliver the best results for team as captain.
