Rs8m gold ornaments looted in Karachi

Armed robbers Thursday looted more than 70 tola of gold and fled the scene in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The incident took place in Gulshan-e-Jamal area in the vicinity of Sharah-e-Faisal police station, as gold worth over Rs8million was looted.

A man who was going to his office for work, opened the door. During this time, armed suspects entered the house.

The four accused looted all the ornaments in the house. They took eight to ten gold sets, more than a dozen gold bangles and two chains.

 SP Gulshan Abdul Khaliq has reached the scene. Crime scene unit of the police has also reached the spot.

SP Gulshan is obtaining details on the matter as the scene has been inspected. Fingerprints and other evidences are being collected.
