Vehari magistrate ‘raids’ farmer house, recovers 70 sugar bags

A price control magistrate Abida Hanif Thursday fined Rs30,000 a farmer Iqbal in Vehari city for hoarding 70 sugar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The story was not as simple as the raid conducted by the female magistrate.  Actually, the farmer received 70 sugar bags as an alternative of money which he loaned to a shopkeeper named Javed.

According to the statement of the victim Iqbal, shopkeeper Javed returned the money, which he borrowed in the form of 70 bags of. 

Iqbal alleged that magistrate Abida Hanif had an underhand agreement with shopkeeper Javed and subsequently carried out a raid at his house and fined him a hefty amount. 

Iqbal said that he paid the fine by collecting money from so many people. He appealed to the Punjab Chief Minister, Multan Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner to provide him justice.

However, magistrate Abida Hanif said that she conducted a raid on receiving the tip and fined the accused for keeping sugar stock.
