The cricket festival Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9 is set to begin tomorrow at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The stadium has been decorated with lights and colourful banners to welcome the cricket fans who are eager to witness the thrilling matches.
Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi visited the stadium Friday night to review the preparations for the grand opening ceremony of PSL 9. Naqvi reviewed the arrangements and got a briefing from PCB Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer.
He took a round of the stadium to inspect the facilities, such as seating, parking, food stalls and washrooms. He expressed satisfaction with the arrangements.
He said that perfect and foolproof arrangements have been made for the opening ceremony of PSL 9, which will be a memorable event for cricket lovers.
He said fans will be thoroughly entertained by the cricket extravaganza that will showcase the talent and passion of Pakistani players.
He added the PSL is the identity of Pakistan and it has to be taken further. He thanked all the stakeholders, sponsors, media and security agencies for their support and cooperation in making PSL 9 a success.
