Sialkot business community members Monday transferred $0.1 million into the bank account of the widow of Priyantha Kumara Diyawadana—who was mob lynched by factory workers on Dec 3rd, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Priyantha’s salary of US$1667 has also been transferred to his wife's account.
Moreover, the Rajco industries—where Priyahtna was employees—announced to transfer the salary of the late Sri Lankan employee to his widow for 10 years.
The 49-year-old Priyantha Kumara was employed as export manager in Sialkot factory and killed by a mob on allegations that he tore a poster pasted on the wall of the factory bearing religious sentiments.
His body was later dragged on the road and set on fire by the mob, receiving global condemnation.
