B-town’s Godfather Amitabh Bachchan’s wife Jaya Bachchan Tuesday fumed at a photographer who tried taking photos of her at the Indore airport where she was spotted along with her husband.
Jaya Bachchan hates getting her photos taken without her consent. Many videos of her lashing out at paparazzi have been frequently circulating the internet and she is at it again. Bachchan lost her calm once again as a photographer tried taking photos of her and her husband at the Indore airport as she already told him not to.
Recently, a video of Jaya was posted on a Bollywood freelancer photographer’s Instagram account in which she walks in the airport before Amitabh. While she meet an acquaintance and receives a bouquet of flowers from him, she sees a fan recording her video. The video-making infuriates her and she tells that fan to stop saying, “Please don’t click my pictures.” When he does not stop after her telling him to stop, she angrily asks “You don’t understand English?”
The person making the video is pulled away by another man while telling him, “Aapko bataya tha na… (I told you not to…),” and Jaya Bachchan is heard saying, “Aise logon ko naukri se nikaal dena chahiye (Such people should be sacked).”
Jaya Bachchan has no qualms about her behaviour with people who click her pictures. While talking to her granddaughter Navya Naveli and daughter Shweta Bachchan for the podcast What The Hell Navya, the Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham actor said she ‘hates it’ when photographers ‘interfere’ in her personal space.
She said, “I hate it. I despise it. I despise the people who interfere in your personal lives and fill their stomachs by selling those products. I am disgusted with such people. I always tell them, ‘Aapko sharam nahi aati?’ (Aren’t you ashamed of yourself?)
