National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday opened a formal inquiry on Master Plan 2500 and issued notice to the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) to provide the records of the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA).
According to the 24News HD TV channel, NAB issued a notice to LDA Director General Aamir Ahmed Khan to provide all the records related to the working and scrutiny of the master plan.
The NAB notice has sought data from the LDA on the working of the master plan and browning of the green area as well as the master plan also calls for a record of road delimitation and changes in it.
The NAB notice has also sought a record of permission from the Master Plan Scrutiny Committee and clarification on complaints of alleged awarding of stakeholders.
A record has also been sought for master planning by LDA.
Pertinent to mention here that NAB had already taken a briefing from the LDA officials on the matter.
