Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan Tuesday said summary for the dissolution of the provincial assembly would be sent that day, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

While chairing the 86th meeting of the provincial cabinet, the KP chief minister said that the previous four years passed gracefully.

“I am thankful to all the cabinet members, bureaucracy, and the MPAs of the government and the opposition,” he thanked.

“Special thanks to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who have trusted me,” he added.

“KP Assembly will be dissolved in the interest of the country,” he declared.

“There is an instability in the country due to the imported rulers. Getting rid of the corrupt band has become inevitable,” he stressed.

Opposition leader in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Akram Khan Durrani alleged that Chief Minister Mahmood Khan approached him several times regarding introducing a no-confidence motion and also sent three close associates to him asking him to move a no-trust motion on in order to avoid assembly dissolution.

In his message to Akram Durrani, KP CM said, “I do not want to dissolve assembly. Hence no-confidence motion is a best option.”

In a telephonic conversation with 24NewsHD TV, Durrani said that he has not yet given any green signal to the provincial government regarding no-trust motion.
