The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued a notification regarding the transfer and posting of the following officers on Tuesday, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Special Secretary and Advisor to Chief Election Commissioner Dr. Syed Asif Hussain Shah has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan. Dr. Asif Hussain Shah belongs to Poonch in Azad Kashmir.
The Election Commission has formally issued the notification for his appointment for one year in place of Omar Hamid Khan.
Likewise, Provincial Election Commissioner Punjab Saeed Gul has been transferred and posted as Director General of the Election Cell and Head of the Election of Wing, Islamabad.
Provincial Election Commission Balochistan Aijaz Anwar Chohan has been transferred and posted as Provincial Election Commissioner Punjab in place of Saeed Gul.
Additional Director General ECP Secretariat Islamabad Muhammad Farid Afridi has been transferred and appointed as Provincial Election Commissioner Balochistan.
