Chief Minister announces medical college, girls hostel and underpass in Okara

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that after the fitna (chaos) is subsided, our country is back on the path to progress and prosperity, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Maryam Nawaz expressed these views while distributing cheques among students of Honhaar Scholarship Programme at University of Okara on Friday. Maryam Nawaz said that “He (Imran Khan) was calling others thieves but after all he himself was proved to be a professional thief.”

She asked who allowed them to burn the uniform of our brave soldiers and opened fire on them. They (PTI) taught lessons to our youngsters that whatever is being posted on social media is true, she added.

Maryam Nawaz said that it is easy for her to ask the young generation to pick up sticks equipped with nails. She said that he (PTI founder) will not succeed in getting peace after diverting the attention of our youngsters. Maryam Nawz said that those children who got training of throwing petrol bombs are now languishing in jail. The Chief Minister said that Pakistan needs unity instead of anarchy. Unity is the need of the hour, she added.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced the construction of medical college, girls hostel and underpass in Okara. CM Maryam Nawaz also announced to complete the projects of University of Okara under her supervision. 

Chief Minister also exhibited the Core i7 laptop which have been purchased for the students. Maryam Nawaz said, “it is our responsibility to give laptops to children who cannot afford to buy laptops, I will personally come and give laptops to children”. She said, children will also be given 100,000 e-bikes for college transportation, not all financial resources are the same, now they will take the burden by giving scholarships”. 

She urged the students to focus 100pc on their careers students should work hard, I will provide resources to fulfill their dreams. CM Maryam said now children with low income can also go to LUMS and other high rated universities.
