Some unknown miscreants Saturday attacked an exam superintendent while he was on his way to the bank to submit the solved answer sheets of an intermediate paper and burnt the answer sheets in the Kahna area of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The assailants also put the motorcycle of exam superintendent Muhammad Amir on fire and fled from the scene. The papers were of Islamiat Elective subject.
Police have constituted special teams for the arrests of the culprits. Punjab minister for higher education has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the Lahore Board chairman.
Lahore Board Chairman, controller examination and other officials reached the site soon after the incident and filed a police report.
According to the board officials, 85 candidates had appeared in the Islamiat Elective subject in the said centre and have claimed that all the answer sheets remained safe during the incident.
