A woman and a child were killed after they fell into a manhole in Memon Goth area of Malir, Karachi on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

However, the rescuers, who reached the spot as soon as they received information, managed to save the lives of three other children who had also fallen into the manhole.

The identity of the woman and the child were still to be established till last reports came in.
