A Balochistan female candidate made history in Central Superior Service (CSS) exams 2019 on Wednesday.
The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) issued the results of the CSS exams. According to the results, 365 candidates cleared the examination including 214 male candidates and 151 female candidates.
Neelam Ali, a female candidate of Balochistan, grabbed 18th position and became the first woman of Panjgur, a backward district in Balochistan province, to pass the competitive exam.
Apart from Neelam Ali, 8 other candidates of Balochistan managed to pass the CSS exams. They include Farwa Batol, Attiqullah, Niaz Ahmed, Muhammad Waqar, Iqra Attique, Ayaz Khan, Abdul Rashid and Najeebullah.
12 candidates of Gilgit-Baltistan also passed the CSS exams. They include Abdul Wakeel, Ali Ahmed, Jalal Khan, Monam Mateen Afridi, Rana Abdul Basit, Syed Imtiaz Hussain, Adil Hussain, Muhammad Rehan Khan, Muhammad Shah Sawar Sharif, Junaid Alam, Uzair Ali Khan and Saad Afridi.
Rana Haider Tahir of Punjab topped the CSS list and has been posted to Pakistan Administrative Service. Second position went to Punjab’s M Daud Saleemi and third to Uzzair Ali Khan having GB/FATA domicile. Both of these have also been appointed to the Pakistan Administrative Service.
However, among these 365 only 214 candidates, 132 male and 82 female candidates, have been selected for the appointments against the different posts.
