Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) of Pakistan Wednesday issued the results of the Competitive Examination (CSS), 2019.
According to the results, 365 candidates cleared the examination including 214 male candidates and 151 female candidates.
However, among these 365 only 214 candidates, 132 male and 82 female candidates, have been selected for the appointments against the different posts.
A total of 23,403 candidates had applied for the CSS competitive examination 2019, of them 14, 521 appeared and only 372 cleared the written exam. The pass percentage of appeared candidates in written examination was 2.56 percent.
Among these 372, seven candidates failed in the viva-voce examination as final pass percentage for the CSS 2019 exam is 2.51 percent.
Rana Haider Tahir from Lahore, Punjab has topped the CSS 2019 and has been posted to Pakistan Administrative Service. Second position went to Punjab’s M Daud Saleemi and third to Uzzair Ali Khan having GB/FATA domicile. Both of these have also been appointed to the Pakistan Administrative Service.
