Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto on Friday said that the political workers of today have been confined to the internet and urged them to come out of the social media bubble, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a party event in Islamabad organized by PPP Human Rights Cell, the Foreign Minister said our human rights course does not care about which party you belong to.
Bilawal Bhutto said that PPP supports the active role of women in politics. We will benefit from old experiences to face new challenges,” he added.
PPP chairman said that they would encourage the workers to the union council (UC) level while urging them to play an active part in politics.
He said the party of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto is proud of its service regarding human rights.
“Today's activism is only limited to social media,” Bilawal Bhutto lamented.
