The Shahdadpur magistrate's court on Sunday granted a four-day remand for five individuals accused of brutally cutting off a camel's leg in Sanghar.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the police presented the accused before Magistrate Asif Ali Sial, who accepted the police's arguments and approved the remand.

The Deputy Commissioner of Sanghar announced plans to fit the injured camel with an artificial leg. The camel, a victim of the landlords' cruelty for entering their field, has been transferred to Karachi for further treatment.

The incident occurred in the village of Nando Khan Shar, under the jurisdiction of the Mangli police station two days ago.

Yesterday, the local police arrested the five accused involved in cutting the leg of the camel as punishment.

Soomer Khan, the camel's owner, appeared before the media to highlight the atrocity committed against his animal.

“I have no enmity with anyone. I don’t know why this was done to my camel,” he stated.
