Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi congratulated the nation on Eid-ul-Adha in his special message, expressing his hopes for Pakistan's development and progress.
In his message, Mohsin Naqvi highlighted that Eid-ul-Adha teaches the importance of sacrifice, urging everyone to embody this lesson in their practical lives. He emphasised that it is a pledge to sacrifice false ego and personal interests for the country's sake.
The Interior Minister paid tribute to the brave members of the security forces who sacrificed their precious lives to defend the homeland and establish peace.
He stated that beyond verbal commitments, it is essential to sacrifice lies and hypocrisy in reality. Today, the soil of our country demands the sacrifice of political, group, and linguistic differences.
The debt owed to the country belongs to everyone, and it can only be repaid through sacrifices for Pakistan. Every individual, party, institution, department, and class must contribute to the development of Pakistan by playing a responsible and positive role.
Minister Naqvi also called on people to help orphans and the poor, share their happiness, and seek the pleasure of Allah Ta'ala.
Mohsin Naqvi also expressed sympathy with the oppressed Palestinians and Kashmiris, urging everyone to remember the oppressed brothers and sisters of Palestine and Occupied Kashmir on Eid.
