The renovated Lahore Zoo has reopened to the public, offering children a delightful experience today on Eidul Adha.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, young visitors had the chance to see new animals and explore the newly reconstructed buildings and animal enclosures.
DG Wildlife Mudassar Riaz announced that the zoo has reopened with limited facilities and designated viewing points as ongoing renovations continue.
Visitors enjoyed seeing new birds, animals, lions, and tigers in their updated cages.
Although the construction contract for the Lahore Zoo was for two years, an impressive 80 percent of the work has been completed in just six months.
The zoo, which closed for upgrades on November 7, 2023, had temporarily moved all its animals and birds, including lions and tigers, to Safari Park in Lahore.
