In the Mandala Merishkaran area of Gujranwala, three people, including two brothers, were killed and seven were injured in a shooting between two groups today on the day of Eid ul Adha.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the injured were taken to the hospital for medical assistance, with the condition of three individuals reported as critical.
The channel reported that the incident occurred in the Ludhiwala area of the Waraich police station's jurisdiction and DSP and SHO arrived at the scene with a heavy contingent of police.
The police said among the deceased are two brothers named Khurram Zaka and Waqas Zaka, and an elderly man named Eid Muhammad.
The police said the injured have been transported to the hospital for treatment with the help of rescue services.
Gujranwala police said the situation is now under control.
