Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Thursday announced it would stage four large public gatherings in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address the gatherings at Chitral, Upper Dir, Malakand and Kurram Agency on March 20, March 21, March 22 and March 25, respectively.
On the other hand, former prime minister, PPP leader and Leader of the Opposition in Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani accused the government of attacking the opposition MNAs at Parliament Lodges. “Our decision to keep the PPP MNAs in Sindh House is not unlawful,” he said, and added, “We cannot be intimidated by the government.”
He went on to add that since the MNAs did not feel secure in the Lodges, therefore the party’s high-command decided to shift them to the Sindh House.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, he said that the PPP would decide the post-no-trust motion course of action in consultations with other opposition parties.
Gilani further said that the PPP had accepted the demands put forward by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).
