PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Thursday alleged that the government was threatening the national assembly members in wake of the no-confidence motion.
Taking to Twitter, Bilawal wrote that MNAs have been threatened with violence, arrest and dire consequences if they take part in the no-confidence process.
He said their lives, liberty and family are under threat.
“MNAs will take any and all means for their own protection against this fascist regime,” wrote Bilawal.
He said his party and opposition alliance PDB will take all measures to protect them and warned the government against provoking them.
“PPP & PDM will do all we can to protect them. We will not show all our cards now. IA a few friends will respond to IKs accusations. More to come in the coming days. Out of respect of OIC conference we don’t want anarchy in Islamabad. government must not provoke us,” Bilawal wrote.
Bilawal’s tweet came after Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary alleged that Sindh House has become a hub of horse-trading and hinted at strict action may be taken in this regard.
