Lollywood actress Iqra Aziz got inspired by the Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt who recently became a mother.
Alia Bhatt had spotted at an interview with the ‘Humans of Bombay’ where she discussed her life after becoming a mother. She in detail discussed how she welcomed her little angel Raha while being a young and popular actress.
“It is a regular feeling, very very normal. Most moms will feel it. It is important to tell yourself that you are doing your best. And it is important to tell yourself that of course, you take that time. It is very important for all big corporations and businesses to give mothers their required maternity leave, especially when they are nursing and taking care of their children. That is something I would like to say loudly,” said Bhatt.
Further, Alia said her husband Ranbir Kapoor has been her biggest support system. “What really helped me was my support system you know my husband, my sister Shaheen, my mom, my family, who were constantly checking on me, constantly making me feel like I'm doing the best job possible.”
Earlier, Iqra Aziz in an interview highlighted the importance of being a mother and working woman.
“I am a very practical person… I harden my heart and keep my emotional side under control. You always have that mom guilt when you leave your kid somewhere and go to work. I started working after Kabir was barely one month old. My mother told me I don’t need to be hard on myself because this is the career that I have worked so hard for and that she’s there to help… Your child will learn what it means to be independent of you. You’re a role model”, Iqra stated.
Iqra took to her social platform Instagram and shared Alia’s interview on her story and wrote that she choose both professions, an actor and a mother.
Her story reads: ‘I choose to be an actor, I choose to be a mom, Life is tough, life is not easy. I cannot sit and complain. P.S. Producer and entrepreneur coming soon.”
