Fire breaks out in Balochistan forests

Fire has broken out in the forests of Kohlu, Balochistan which is getting intense due to strong winds blowing in the area, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

And although fire brigade vehicles have reached the area and are busy extinguishing the blaze, still they have been unable to douse it due to strong winds blowing in the area.

However, Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) teams also reached the affected area besides local Levies, FC officials who are also assisting PDMA teams.

Any loss of human life or animals has not been reported so far.

The fire has broken out in an area of about 100 acres in the fire affected area in Kohlu and water is being sprayed from a helicopter to control the fire.
