The security forces shot dead two important and most-wanted terrorists belonging to outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during a gunbattle in North Waziristan District, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to a statement issued by the military’s media wing on Tuesday, the fire exchange took place between the security forces and the mot-wanted terrorists in the general area of Boya in North Waziristan District on the night between May 16 and May 17.
During the intense exchange of fire, the two terrorists got killed and were later identified as terrorist commander Rasheed alias Jabar and terrorist Abdul Salam alias Chamtoo.
A large number of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists.
The killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities in the area, said the ISPR statement.
