The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed former Test cricketer Zakir Khan as a consultant for special projects.
Zakir Khan, the former Director International of Pakistan Cricket Board, was given a one-month extension earlier.
According to the sources, Zakir Khan was posted for a year on a contractual basis. Zakir Khan will get Rs500,000 from PCB as a monthly salary.
Also, the board appointed Usman Wahla as the new Director of International Cricket.
