The famous “Good to see you” greeting of the Chief Justice of Pakistan has also resonated in the confines of another court, this time the well-wisher is none less than a distinguished judge of the Islamabad High Court – Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
An interesting situation emerged in the Islamabad High Court on Wednesday when Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb greeted Islamabad IG police by saying “Good to see you” when the latter appeared in the court during hearing of a petition filed by PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry against his arrest.
The entire courtroom was burst into laughter when the judge uttered: “Good to see you, IG Sahib”.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial has to face a lot of criticism by the leaders of coalition parties when he greeted PTI Chairman Imran Khan with these words on his appearance before the Supreme Court on May 11.
Even the chief justice had to come out with an explanation to stifle the criticism. He explained that it was his wont to greet all people in the same manner.
