A picture of a couple said to be Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s photo, has been circulating across social media.
In the picture, we can see the pregnant mother holding a Polaroid of an ultrasound, a popular way to announce pregnancy and she resembles Deepika whereas the father-to-be is facing away from the camera which is why his face is not visible.
Well, thanks to Deepika’s dimples and strategically obscured face.
The power couple became the victims of deepfake photos made through the misuse of technology just like earlier the Bollywood celebrities Alia Bhatt, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nora Fatehi have been victims of deepfake videos.
According to a fact-checking team, it was an AI-generated photo that belonged to an individual, named, Halime Kucuk.
Deepika and Ranveer announced their pregnancy in February this year as the actress shared an adorable poster on her Instagram handle.
