GB Minister Suhail steps down

Gilgit-Baltistan Health, Law, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Syed Suhail Abbas has stepped down, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.

“I, Syed Suhail Abbas, do hereby tender my resignation as Minister Health, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Government of Gilgit-Baltistan,” reads the resignation.

Syed Suhail Abbas was elected as a member of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly in November 2020 on the PTI ticket. In his resignation statement shared on social media, Abbas expressed his gratitude to the people of his constituency, founding chairman Imran Khan, party leadership, and former CM and PTI provinicial chief  Khalid Khurshid, for their support.
