The State Life, in adherence to the government policy, has issued a notification altering the cost-sharing structure for health card holders.
As of November 15, patients utilizing the health card will now bear 40 per cent of the treatment expenses, marking an increase from the previous 30 per cent.
The revised directive affects all private hospitals, with the new policy requiring them to collect an additional 10 per cent from patients benefiting from the health card.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, this adjustment aims to distribute the financial burden of healthcare services and comes as part of ongoing efforts to streamline the health card program.
