Pakistan and the Netherlands on Sunday agreed to hold a cricket series next year, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Besides that, it was also concurred to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the promotion of cricket in the Netherlands.
The agreement was reached at a meeting between Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Naqvi and the Dutch Ambassador in Pakistan, Henny De Vries.
Speaking on the occasion, Naqvi said that there was a need for taking steps for the promotion of ties between the two countries. “Pakistan will fully support the efforts to promote the sport in the Netherlands,” he assured.
He said that Pakistan had hosted Afghan refugees for decades. “Now the government has devised a comprehensive strategy to deport those who are living in the country illegally.”
