The WhatsApp account of Ahmed Chinoy, former Chief of the Citizen Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) and Director of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), was hacked, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Sunday.
PSX Director Ahmed Chinoy revealed that the hacker is demanding one million rupees, using various numbers available through his hacked account.
According to the channel report, Ahmed Chinoy has filed a complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and other law enforcement agencies.
He has also shared the incident on social media to raise awareness and alert the public.
As per the report, efforts from the law enforcement agencies are underway to track down the culprit and resolve the matter.
