Malir district of Karachi was jolted by the earthquake in different areas on Monday late night at 11:20 pm.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the earthquake tremored in Shah Latif Town, Buffalo Colony, Sherpao Colony, Majeed Colony, New Muzaffarabad and other areas.
As per the channel report, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 3.1 and its depth was 15 kilometres.
The epicentre of it was near Quaidabad in Karachi.
