Two fierce encounters took place between Pak troops and the terrorists in the North and South Waziristan districts on Monday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the first encounter occurred in the general area of Asman Munza in South Waziristan District where Pak troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location as a result of which one terrorist was killed and another injured.
However, during the intense exchange of fire, 31-year-old Sepoy Sajid Azam who was a resident of Kotli in Azad Kashmir martyred having fought gallantly.
In another intense fire exchange between the troops and terrorists in the general area of Miran Shah in North Waziristan District; one terrorist was killed.
Whereas a brave son of soil, 27-year-old Sepoy Waris Khan who was a resident of District Karak in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat.
According to the report, sanitization is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of brave soldiers further strengthen their resolve.
