Gold prices have witnessed a steep decline following the trend of the international market on Monday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the price of 24 karats of pure gold dropped by Rs1,900 per tola in the Pakistani jewellers market.
After this decrease, prices of pure gold reached Rs2,00,100 per tola while the price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs1,629 to Rs1,71,553.
The price of 10 grams of 22 karats of gold which is being usually used for jewellery making in Pakistan also reduced and traded at Rs1,57,257.
In the international market on Monday, the price of pure gold of 24 karats decreased by US$15 per ounce and traded at US$1,923 per ounce.
Though the prices of gold decreased in the Pakistani market, the price of silver did not change and traded at Rs2,500 per tola and Rs2143.34 per ten grams.
