Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh has suffered a severe health scare due to a muscle spasm sustained during her intense workout session.
Over the past three days, Rakul Preet Singh has been on bed rest as she recovers from this frightening experience. This incident highlights the importance of safety and proper technique during intense workouts, reminding fitness enthusiasts to prioritize their health over pushing their limits, especially when lifting heavy weights. The actress in her Instagram story shared a health update lately and said, "I did something very stupid, I didn’t listen to my body. I had a spasm; kept pushing it and it turned into a major injury."
She added, “I’ve been in bed for the last six days and I think it’ll take another week or so for me to fully recover.”
Though hopeful for a quicker recovery, she admitted it’s difficult for her to ‘give in and rest.’ Rakul used the moment to share an important message: “Please listen to your body when it gives you signals. Don’t try to push.”
She also reflected, “I thought my mind was stronger than my body, but it doesn’t always work like that.” Grateful for the supportive messages she’s received, she reassured fans, saying, “I will bounce back stronger.”

Rakul endured the pain for two days in a row, but after three days of discomfort, she finally sought medical help. Following consultation with physiotherapists, the discomfort would momentarily go away then come back a few hours later.
