Feeling hopeless about their return to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) as active members of the party, members of ‘estranged’ PTI leader Jahangir Khan Tareen (JKT) group have started contacting Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in order to save their political future, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

Sources told 24News TV channel that nine members of the group had contacted PML-N in recent days following Prime Minister Imran Khan’s refusal to ‘forgive’ them for their past conduct.

It has been learnt that PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanaullah is in touch with members of the JKT group.

The sources further disclosed that three members of the group who are MNAs had even had a telephonic talk with former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif.

They told 24News TV channel that these MNAs would be inducted in the PML-N at the time of elections, keeping in view the situation.

Similarly, it has also been learnt that some of the members of the JKT group have even reached out to PPP for their inclusion in the party, and that former prime minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and Dost Muhammad Khosa are acting as coordinators.
