The main accused who kidnapped a woman from a posh area of Lahore on July 18, has been killed in a police encounter on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, Abdullah, the prime accused, kidnapped a female lawyer in broad daylight outside her office in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Lahore in July last. However, the female managed to foil the kidnapping bid by jumping off the car when it slowed down in traffic.
Police registered a case against the suspects on the complaint of the lawyer the same day and arrested an accomplice of Abdullah from Lahore soon after the kidnapping bid.
It is pertinent to mention here that Abdullah fled along with female’s vehicle and other possessions.
The Anti Vehicle Lifting System (AVLS) police were raiding the outskirts of Peshawar in order to arrest the suspect after his identification. Although Abdullah escaped many raids but eventually got killed today in retaliatory firing by Peshawar police.
