Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Cantt has claimed to arrest the accused who killed a security guard and his wife in the name of honor including the accused who extorted Rs50 million in Sunder, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Superintendent of Police CIA North Furqan Bilal held a press conference along with DSP CIA Cantt Faisal Sharif on Saturday.
He said that 5 months ago, the accused who killed the husband and wife in Heir, area of Lahore have been arrested.
The accused Amjad and his accomplice killed them on suspicion of having an illicit relationship with his wife and they were arrested from Rawalpindi.
The DSP CIA Cantt said that the 4 accused of extortion money of Rs50 million along with the members of the inter-district gang have also been arrested.
CIA also recovered gold jewellery, cash and other goods worth millions of rupees from their possession.
