8-month-old baby tests coronavirus positive

An eight-month-old baby has been tested positive for coronavirus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa district of Swabi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

The baby, named Mian Muhammad Adam Shah, is being treated at his home.

Adam Shah’s family had contracted the coronavirus from where it passed on to him.

According to the NCOC data released on Sunday morning, during the past 24 hours (Saturday), the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government recorded 1,061 new infections after conducting 7,709 tests with a positivity ratio of 13.76 percent.

Overall, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s confirmed cases have climbed to 104,480. It recorded 36 new deaths and 919 recoveries, raising the toll to 2,832 and recoveries to 88,239. There are currently 13,409 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.
