Crocodiles ‘escape’ from Deharki Safari Park

A bask of crocodiles from the Safari Park near Deharki in Sindh and went into a canal due to the negligence of the administration which caused chaos and panic among residents of the area, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
After escaping from the Safari Park, a number of small and large crocodiles have sped out of the park and plunged into nearby Qazi Wah Canal.
After coming out of the park, the crocodiles ate many of the villagers' chickens. The villagers caught a 3 feet long crocodile with self-help.
The people of the area feared that the presence of crocodiles in canal is a constant threat to the lives of children and cattle.
They said that they have informed the officials of Wildlife Department but the staff did not respond to their emergency request. Only a retired wildlife employee reached there to help them.
The locals said that they witnessed 3 to 5 feet long crocodiles which are present in the canal and they succeeded to catch a three feet sized crocodile.
The locals demanded that the government should immediately send a wildlife team to capture all the crocodiles from the Qazi Wah Canal and transfer them to the Safari Park.
