A teenaged girl was raped by her neighbour at gunpoint in Hafizabad on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The incident was reported in Hafizabad’s suburban area of Jalalpur Bhattian where the fifth grader was first kidnapped by her neighbour at gunpoint and then raped.
The police have arrested the accused, who was on the run after committing the crime.
After DPO Mowrahan Khan took notice of the incident, the police registered a case and took the accused in custody.
The DPO vowed to get maximum punishment for the accused in accordance with the law.
