Actress Urwa Hocane comes forward in support of Mehrub Moiz and recalls her protest against the talks about gender rights and identity. Urwa wrote a heart-wrenching caption: “Mehrub Moiz I am deeply saddened and disappointed, In fact, I am at a loss of words on how sorry I am for what you had to go through.”
“I probably cannot even imagine how you deal with such inhuman and insensitive people that exist around us who are schooling people on who you are and what your rights should be, even though they are the only ones who need basic lessons on humanity.”
Udaari actress said that these ‘ignorant, heartless people have not even a clue about how you get to be truely you in this cruel world.
This comes after fashion designer Maria B made comments that Mehrub is not transgender by birth. Maria B posted a story saying that this specific person Mehrub Moiz Awan is not from the trans community and actually a ‘man’ transitioning into a woman. She alleged that that activist was promoting the LGBTQ community openly on social media and that is not the type of influence we as a nation want on us and our children.
The trans activist taking to Instagram alleged that an event where the activist ought to deliver a talk was cancelled.
