In a big breakthrough, Punjab law enforcers Thursday arrested the main accused of the Jaranwala incident.
The arrest of the main accused was disclosed by Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi in his tweet on Thursday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi said in his tweet that both the accused were arrested by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD).
CM Naqvi appreciated the Punjab Chief Secretary and Inspector General of the Punjab Police for their relentless efforts to arrest the accused persons.
He also said, “Prime Minister’s unwavering concern guided us, driving the swift arrest process. Grateful for the trust he placed in our team, fueling record-time arrests.”
