Pakistan People's Party Parliamentarian (PPPP) President, and former President Asif Ali Zardari concluded his brief visit to Peshawar, where a decision on forming an alliance with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for the upcoming elections remains pending.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Zardari arrived in Peshawar for a short visit, during which he stayed at the Governor's House and held a meeting with the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In addition to meeting with the governor, Asif Ali Zardari also engaged in discussions with leaders of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP).
The deliberations aimed to explore the possibilities of forming a political alliance for the upcoming elections.
Zardari further held a meeting with a delegation from the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) at the Governor House, emphasizing the importance of political cooperation.
However, the decision on whether PPP will ally with the PTI in the upcoming elections remains unresolved.
After these meetings, the former president departed for Islamabad.
