A father and son lost their lives when a fire erupted due to sparking from electricity wires in a cattle yard near Jhangvi Mor, Ehsanpur, Dera Din Panah, on Wednesday.
The tragic incident, reported by the 24NewsHD TV channel, claimed the lives of the duo as they were sleeping in the yard.
In addition to the loss of human life, a goat and a buffalo were also burnt in the fire caused by the sparks.
Rescue 1122 and local police promptly arrived at the site after receiving the report and initiated a rescue operation.
