Interior Minister and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi called on Saudi Arabia’s Cricket Federation Chairman in Riyadh and held detailed discussion for the promotion and development of cricket in Saudi Arabia, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Mohsin Naqvi invited Prince Saud bin Mashal Al Saud to watch Champions Trophy 2025 matches in Pakistan.
PCB chief offered all possible support for the promotion of cricket and construction of stadiums in Saudi kingdom.
Mohsin Naqvi also offered Saudi Arabia that PCB was ready to train players of Saudi Arabia cricket team. Naqvi also suggested players exchange program between the two countries, adding that for training session, Saudi Arabia can send its emerging players to Pakistan. He said, “PCB will provide full support for cricket development, construction of stadiums in Saudi Arabia which is the second home of every Pakistani.”
PCB chief said that Pakistan will be happy to cooperate Saudi Arabia for the promotion of cricket in the kingdom.
Meanwhile, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visits King Fahad Security College in Riyadh. Director General King Fahad Security College Major General Dr. Ali Al Daij welcomed Interior Minister.
During his visit, Minister Naqvi visited various departments of the college and praised its advanced educational standards. He commended the Master’s programs for their alignment with modern demands and lauded the college’s five-year strategic plan.
During a meeting with Director General, both parties discussed exchange programs, including study tours and training opportunities for graduates from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Naqvi invited Saudi college’s graduates to participate in study tours in Pakistan and explored proposals for short-term training courses at the King Fahd Security College for Pakistani graduates.
Calling the institution a state-of-the-art facility, Naqvi lauded Saudi leadership's approach in the security sector.
On the occasion, the minister also toured the Forensic Science Institute and was briefed on its cutting-edge activities. He noted the college’s offerings of Master’s degrees in artificial intelligence, leadership management, and security applications, as well as its provision of security scholarships to international universities.
