NADRA issues 60-day deadline for reporting deaths

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) on Wednesday announced the cancellation of the Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) of dead persons, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to NADRA Ordinance Section 17-A, the heirs of dead persons were bound to report about the death of any person to NADRA within 60 days for cancellation of CNIC.
